Yasmeen Jaber

Yasmeen is Centre Administrator at the Middle East Centre. Yasmeen’s responsibilities include managing all the Centre’s events and workshops as well as leading the Centre's engagement with students, alumni and the wider interested community.

Prior to joining the Centre, she was a research associate at the Fiker Institute, a think tank in the UAE. She also worked as an associate under the Conflict and Stabilisation Practice at Chemonics UK, a London-based international development firm. She holds an MSc in Political Science: Conflict Studies and Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Politics, and a BA in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Nottingham. She has held research positions across projects on migration, transnationalism, and asylum seeking.
