Ting-Sian’s research explores how Indigenous and Han queer people of Taiwan define and remake identity and belongings of queerness and Indigeneity that continue to be shaped by settler colonial structure, contested statehood, and Taiwanese nationalism. Born and raised in central Taiwan, Ting-Sian enjoys learning their mother tongue Tâi-gí, gardening, and film photography in their free time.
