About
Prior to joining LSE, Margaret graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy. At CMU, Margaret played NCAA Division One lacrosse and was a Centralis Scholarship Recipient. She later received a Master of Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois Urbana - Champaign.
Margaret's research interests focus on work-to-nonwork spillover effects, or the ways in which work affects individuals outside of work. She is particularly interested in examining the impact of precarious employment and how such experiences affect broader socio-political attitudes and behaviour. Margaret is also interested in traditional industrial relations topics such as the intersection of labour unions and politics as well, as cross-national comparative employment relations.
