Hala is the Communications Coordinator (maternity cover) at the Middle East Centre. She develops and delivers communications strategies and outputs to widen the reach of the Centre's research activities, primarily through publications, the blog, social media, and website management.
Previously, she was a Communications and Marketing Officer for the Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity (AFSEE) programme, based at the LSE International Inequalities Institute. She holds a first-class degree in Global Development from SOAS University of London.
