François Simon has been involved in the field of French language teaching since 1999 and has worked at LSE since 2006.
Before joining LSE he was involved in bilingual French/Arabic teaching in Cairo, Egypt; French language and culture promotion as the deputy director of the Alliance Française of Lusaka, Zambia and French teaching and course development in Cape Town, South Africa.
He is interested in the multidisciplinary approach of language teaching; the use of new technologies in teaching and learning processes and the development of project based teaching methods.
He also has a particular interest in Francophone Literature; Sociology; Geography and Queer Studies.
He is involved in teaching on the BSc Language, Culture and Society programme.
