Alexander Newton

Alex is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics. His research interests include econometrics and economic theory.

Before joining the programme, he held various positions in computational reproducibility, model quality assurance and statistical computing at the Office of National Statistics and the Civil Service.

Alex holds an MSc in Economics from LSE, a Graduate Diploma in Economics from Birkbeck College, and a BA in Physics from the University of Oxford.
