Dr Jet G Sanders is the president of newly created Behavioural and Social Science Section of the European Public Health Association. This platform brings people together to strengthen the role of behavioural science in public health research, policy and practice across Europe.

The Climate Change Advisory Council hosted the event 'Behavioural Change for Climate Action and Policy' in Dublin in November 2025. Chaired by Professor Liam Delaney, the event brought together leading researchers, government departments, agencies and local authorities explore the role of behaviour in meeting Ireland’s climate goals. Professor Michael Muthukrishna is the principal author of the UNDP report The Next Great Divergence: Why AI May Widen Inequality Between Countries, which warns that, without deliberate action, AI could deepen global inequality instead of driving inclusion. The report also offers practical steps to reduce these risks, including a practical phased roadmap.

Dr Christian Krekel gave a talk on "The WELLBY" at the Lind Foundation Evaluation Network in September 2025. The event had participants from various Danish foundations and civil servants from the Municipality of Aarhus.

Dr Kate Laffan and Alexandra Kirienko took part in a ‘Science of Wellbeing Webinar’ with Alex Hogarty, Global Head of Wellbeing at Novartis, to discuss how science and practice can work more closely.

Dr Jet G Sanders leads the WHO Collaborating Centre on Behavioural Science for Health Emergency Preparedness and Resilience. The centre is part of the Behaviour and Health department of RIVM in the Netherlands and contributes to the WHO Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience (HEPR) framework and to the Preparedness 2.0 strategy (2024-2029), in which behavioural sciences play a central role. Professor Sandra Jovchelovitch gave the keynote address at the FilmEU Summit 2025 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Professor Jovchelovitch drew on her ground-breaking research to discuss the role the arts can have in promoting the socio-cultural development of communities.

Can AI understand distress? In this video, Professor Elizabeth Stokoe discusses her research into emergency calls, and the hidden signals that AI voice assistant tools might miss.

Professor Sandra Jovchelovitch was a key participant in the G20 Social Summit event “The Favela at the Centre of the Global Debate: The Relevance of the G20 Favelas on the International Agenda”. Professor Jovchelovitch presented an update on her research project ‘Supporting bottom-up development in cities in the Developing World’ and spoke about the model of social development that originated in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.

The 2024 Khazanah Megatrends Forum (KMF) centred around ideas from Professor Michael Muthukrishna's book A Theory of Everyone, and Michael gave the keynote address at the event.

Professor Liam Delaney was a keynote speaker at Capco's "Beyond the Irrational: Better Decisions & Outcomes with Behavioural Science" event in June 2024.

Professor Alex Gillespie gave the opening keynote, entitled ‘Pragmatism: Humble theory for an uncertain world’, at the International Society for Theoretical Psychology (ISTP) conference in Belgrade in May 2024.
Professor Elizabeth Stokoe was a keynote speaker at the Conversation Design Institute’s Beyond Boundaries Global Festival for generative AI in Barcelona in April 2024. Professor Stokoe also participated in a fireside chat entitled “Women in Voice”.
The 2023/24 Human Development Report, issued by the United Nations Development Programme, includes a focus on cultural evolution and cooperation and cite a number of papers by Professor Michael Muthukrishna.

Professor Alex Gillespie and Dr Tom Reader have brought their extensive work on unobtrusive indicators of organisational culture to a range of corporate organisations through consulting projects and partnerships.
In March 2024, Dr Thomas Curran was interviewed by Clare Williamson for the BBC Business Daily episode, "Is it okay to be mediocre at work?". Listen to the episode.
Dr Ganga Shreedhar is part of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) SSC/CEC Behaviour Change Task Force (BCTF), a global network of specialists working towards the integration of behaviour change into conservation action. Dr Shreedhar presented her work on “Public understanding of mass extinction and support for transformative action around the world” in a conference organised by the BCTF and Indianapolis Zoo in March 2024.
Dr Christian Krekel gave a presentation at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) titled "The Returns to Volunteering: Wellbeing, Health, and Social Capital". He also gave an interview on "Quantifying Happiness" on BBC Radio 3 "Free Thinking" with Matthew Sweet on 28 March 2024.
Professor Martin Bauer, Dr Bankole Falade and Hannah Blunt conducted a number of workshops in 2023 and 2024 as part of the POIESIS project, which seeks to enhance public trust in science. Learn more about POIESIS and the workshops.
Dr Tom Reader and Professor Alex Gillespie have engaged with various organisations on the topic of healthcare complaints, and how they can be used to improve patient safety. They have designed the Healthcare Complaints Analysis Tool, which organisations can use to analyse and gain a better understanding of complaints.
Professor Elizabeth Stokoe co-hosted a series of “expert classes” for the Conversation Design Institute. The topics covered were 'Should Conversational User interfaces have a personality?', 'How should conversation design deal with interruption? and 'Should conversational user interfaces make human "errors"?'.

In June 2023, Dr Edoardo Zulato hosted a one-day workshop on awareness of antimicrobial resistance with academic researchers, the pharmaceutical industry, relevant policymakers and practitioners from human and animal health.
In the same month, Dr Zulato also designed and led a one-day workshop to explore the group dynamics of a management team at IKEA.
Professor Liam Delaney spoke at the UN Behavioural Science Week in June 2023. In his session, Professor Delaney addressed the development of behavioural science capacities in different organisations, cultural variation, and ethical issues. View the talk on YouTube.
Dr Fred Basso and Dr Dario Krpan presented their WISER framework, which rearranges the 17 interlinked UN Sustainable Development Goals into five main categories, to the behavioural research group the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) at the United Nations (UN). In March 2023, Dr Dario Krpan and Dr Fred Basso organised a public lecture at LSE on “Different perspectives on diversity of thought in social science”. The event was featured in The Lancet in an opinion article written by its Editor-in-Chief, Dr Richard Horton. Read the article.
