Dr Dario Krpan awarded LSE AI and Education Fellowship
Dr Dario Krpan, Associate Professor of Behavioural Science, has been awarded one of LSE's inaugural AI and Education Fellowships.
These fellowships, offered to ten academics from across LSE over two years, provide an unique opportunity for recipients to develop innovative, AI-enhanced approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment.
Dario said of his appointment:
The Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science has been a pioneer in combining traditional psychology and behavioural science education with cutting-edge developments in AI and other emerging technologies, teaching generations of students how to use these tools to understand and change human behaviour for the better. As part of the fellowship, I will continue this tradition and ensure that students engage with the latest techniques, from creating agentic AI for behavioural change to testing interventions on synthetic participants, in order to address some of the most pressing issues of our time, including the climate crisis, inequality, and mental health.
