Youmna Maghraby is the 2023-24 recipient of the LSE Middle East Centre's Mohamed Al Fahim Scholarship. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the British University in Egypt and is currently enrolled in an MSc in Anthropology and Development at LSE.
She previously served as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning Officer at CARE International in Egypt, where she conducted fieldwork with both refugee and Egyptian survivors of gender-based violence in Cairo, Alexandria, and Upper Egypt. She also possesses professional and internship experiences with United Nations organizations, including the UN World Food Programme.
