We're hiring: LSE Fellow in Qualitative Methods and LSE Fellow in Advanced Quantitative Methods

The Department of Methodology is hiring for two LSE Fellow roles: an LSE Fellow in Advanced Quantitative Methods, and LSE Fellow in Qualitative Methods.

The Department of Methodology at LSE coordinates and provides a focus for methodological activities and graduate and undergraduate student education. We are methodologically and disciplinarily diverse, with faculty in sociology, anthropology, international relations, political science, statistics, economics, social psychology, social policy, and criminology.

LSE Fellow in Qualitative Methods:

We are seeking to appoint an individual with established research interests and teaching experience in qualitative methods. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s teaching activities through seminar teaching, methods surgeries, and dissertation/capstone supervision.

The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in research design and qualitative methods. They will become part of an internationally outstanding group of social science methodologists, be encouraged to collaborate with faculty on new and ongoing projects and supported to develop their own independent research agenda.

LSE Fellow in Advanced Quantitative Methods:

We are seeking to appoint an individual with established research interests and teaching experience in advanced quantitative methods and computational social science. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s teaching activities through seminar teaching, methods surgeries, and dissertation/capstone supervision.

The successful candidate will join an internationally outstanding group of social science methodologists, be encouraged to collaborate with faculty on new and ongoing projects and supported to develop their own independent research agenda.
