About me

Kieron is the CEO of 100x – the world’s largest impact accelerator, based at the London School of Economics. He is also Chair of the Impact Investing Institute, the UK’s foremost authority on impact investing. From 2016 to 2023, he was the Chief Executive of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation, one of the world’s oldest health foundations. His work has focused on driving systemic change for those poorly served by conventional capitalism. Earlier in his career, he advised on social innovation and economic policy at 10 Downing Street. He has played a key role in shaping the impact economy, establishing influential initiatives such as Big Society Capital, Impact on Urban Health, the Global Steering Group on Impact Investment, and the Government Outcomes Lab. Kieron sits on the UK Government’s Taskforce on Impact Capital and chairs Long-Term Investors in People’s Health, a $7 trillion global alliance of institutional investors focused on health.

Kieron will be leading the Marshall Institute’s Impact Economy Project. This work will explore evolving questions surrounding the impact economy - where private capital, enterprise, and philanthropy intersect to tackle social and environmental challenges. As this space grows in scale and influence, so too does the need for thoughtful discussion.

We will be launching an Impact Economy Dialogue series with experts and LSE academics from September.
