About me

Sun Woo’s current research interests are gender issues in the labour market, identity of employees in the workplace, and the effects of carbon neutral policies on the labour market. Specifically, Sun Woo wants to analyse how organisations including unions and CSOs help to relieve inequality and conflicts of gender in labour markets or workplaces.

Before joining LSE, Sun Woo attained a BBA from Gachon University, and an MSc in Management from Korea University. She was awarded several scholarships for her BBA and MSc programmes.

Sun Woo worked as research assistant at both schools and the Korea Labor Institute (KLI). She participated in several research projects including research for Hyundai Motor Company and Ministry of Employment and Labour (Republic of Korea). She also has work experience in HR in the fashion industry.
