Kajal Sanghrajka led the London School of Economics first ever accelerator programme supporting 15 early stage businesses focused on profit and purpose in 2020. She is the Director of Growth Hub Global where she supports European companies and universities to grow globally leveraging her own experience starting and growing a business internationally and building Columbia university’s first incubator as a graduate entrepreneur. She is a Churchill Fellow researching immigrant entrepreneurship and start up ecosystems and writes a monthly editorial The Transatlantic Post on innovation and entrepreneurship. She holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
John Lee Allen is a physician, scientist venture capital investor and auditory technology specialist with 15 years of experience across the public and private healthcare and life sciences sectors. His interest in digital innovation, and in bringing deep technology to market, developed while building a medical device as a neurosciences PhD student at Oxford University. He has been a repeat founder and investor in healthcare services and consumer health and, as an Audiologist, he served as a partner for Specsavers Optical Group during their strategic transition into hearing products and services.
Yohan Iddawela is the Co-Founder of Lanterne, an award-winning social enterprise that helps international workers in conflict zones to navigate safely. He is also a PhD candidate in Economic Geography at LSE, where his research examines the causes and effects of sub-national government corruption across a range of African countries. He was previously an economist for the Institute for State Effectiveness where he worked in Afghanistan and Puerto Rico. Prior to this, Yohan worked for the Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in areas ranging from economic development to national security.
