LSE alumnus Alberto G Musalem is the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. In this role, he participates on the Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), which sets the direction of U.S. monetary policy. He also oversees the activities of the Eighth Federal Reserve District which spans all of Arkansas and parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
