About me

Adriana is a health regulatory expert at the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) in Brazil.

Her research interests include evidence for decision making in pharmaceutical policy, regulation, pricing and health technology assessment (HTA).

Adriana previously worked at the Pan American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation(PAHO/WHO) and with the World Bank, WHO and Universities in Brazil, Latin America and Caribbean and in Europe, with pharmaceutical policy, regulation and pricing, health technology assessment, health system reforms, good regulatory practices, pharmaceutical services based in primary health care, access to medicines and human rights, and social participation.

Adriana holds a Pharmacy PhD (Hons) from the University of Alcalá (Spain) and specialisations in international health from the University of São Paulo and health surveillance from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation in Brazil.
