LSE Law School recognised with Bronze Green Impact Award

Friday 12 June 2026

LSE Law School has been awarded a Bronze Green Impact Award in recognition of its commitment to sustainability and environmental action across the School.

Green Impact is LSE's sustainability engagement programme, coordinated by the Sustainability Team and Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK). The programme encourages departments to take practical steps to reduce their environmental impact while fostering collaboration between staff and students.

Throughout the year, the Law School completed a range of sustainability initiatives, earning points through the Green Impact toolkit before being independently audited by LSE student auditors. These efforts were recognised with a Bronze Award at the University's annual Celebration of Sustainability.

The award reflects the collective efforts of colleagues across the School to embed more sustainable practices into day-to-day activities and supports LSE's wider commitment to environmental sustainability.

Green Impact returns in September, and all colleagues are encouraged to get involved. Whether you're looking to make small changes in your day-to-day work or contribute new ideas for improving sustainability across the School, taking part is a great way to make a positive impact and help build on this year's success.
