Professor Kai Möller argues in FT that six year detention violates Markus Braun’s human rights

Professor Kai Möller is co-counsel for Markus Braun before the European Court of Human Rights. Braun, former CEO of defunct German payments company Wirecard, was arrested in 2020 and the trial, still ongoing, started in 2022. Professor Möller argues in a Financial Times op-ed that the almost unprecedented length of Braun’s detainment violates his human rights under the European Convention.
