Arafat Hosen Khan, a Visiting Senior Fellow at LSE Law School, was recently quoted in an article in the Economist, discussing the political and economic situation in Bangladesh, following the ousting of Sheik Hasina, the country's despotic former ruler, in 2024. 'Lasting change will require bringing all Bangladeshi’s together, not dishing out punishments .... Bangladesh needs a 'Nelson Mandela moment".' Arafat is the author of The Constitution of Bangladesh: People, Politics, and Judicial Intervention (Routledge, 2022), exploring the interplay between governance and constitutional law in Bangladesh.
