LSE Law Professor Emily Jackson features in a new LSE film exploring the ethical and legal questions raised by stem cell-based embryo models (SCBEMs).

In What if making babies didn’t require sperm or eggs?, Professor Jackson discusses how advances in developmental biology could transform fertility treatment and medicine, noting that “developmental biology is raising issues that are just as significant as AI.”

She also spoke about these emerging technologies on BBC Radio 4’s Inside Science in Are embryos made from skin cells the future of fertility treatment?
