Inner Temple Book Prize awards ceremony

The awards ceremony for the Inner Temple Book Prize took place on 23 February 2023. The prizes were awarded by Sir Robert Francis KC, Treasurer of the Inner Temple and the principal speech was by Dame Rosalyn Higgins GBE, the first woman judge and President of the International Court of Justice (also a professor at LSE 1981-1995). Three LSE academics were recognised for their outstanding work. Joint winners of the £12,000 Main Book Prize were Professor Jo Braithwaite for The Financial Courts: Adjudicating Disputes in Derivatives Markets (Cambridge University Press) and Professor Neil Duxbury for The Intricacies of Dicta and Dissent (Cambridge University Press). Dr Richard Martin was also awarded a Runners-up Prize in the New Author category, for his Policing Human Rights: Law, Narratives and Practice (Oxford University Press).
