Magali Brenac has been teaching French as a Foreign Language for 17 years. Before starting at LSE in 2023, she worked in different universities such as King’s College London and, mainly, the University of Westminster.
Magali has a Masters in English Studies. Her MA thesis focused on modern British drama: She has a strong interest in modern representations of tragic events and the influence of ancient Greek tragedy.
She is also a certified English into French translator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. She taught translation for 13 years at the University of Westminster and, for a year, at Imperial College London.
She completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education in 2015 and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In the field of Higher Education, Magali is particularly interested in assessment issues, as well as the importance of supervision.
