Nathan Lane is an economist whose research interests span machine learning, economic development, political economy, and industrial economics. He is currently Principal Investigator of the Industrial Policy Group. Dr. Lane was previously an economics professor at the University of Oxford and Monash University, and a postdoctoral researcher at MIT. He was the co-founder of SodaLabs.io, a lab dedicated to answering social science questions using alternative data and computational tools.
