About me

I am an LSE Fellow in the Government Department, teaching Research Design, R programming, and Maths for Political Science. I earned a DPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford in March 2024. Before that, I earned an MSc in Sociology from Trinity College Dublin/University College Dublin, and I graduated cum laude from the University of Milan. I have an interdisciplinary background in sociology, communication, and, of course, political science.

My research investigates strategies to increase public attention to marginalized interests, as well as the political engagement of marginalized groups. I have worked with NGOs, non-profits, and advocacy groups to study how they use awareness-raising campaigns to change attitudes and behaviours toward marginalized groups. Broadly speaking, I am interested in campaigns advocating for the equality of women, gender and sexual minorities, ethnic minorities, religious minorities, individuals with disabilities, individuals with mental health conditions, and the poor. In my research, I employ quantitative methods of causal inference and experimental methods.
