Undergraduate course selection
New students
Course selection for new undergraduates (including General Course students) will open at 10am on Tuesday 8 September 2026 until 5pm on Monday 12 October 2026.
Continuing students
Course selection for continuing undergraduates will open on Tuesday 1 September 2026 and will close at 5pm on Monday 12 October 2026.

Master's course selection
Master's students will be able to browse (but not select) courses from 10am on Monday 21 September 2026.
Course selection for master's students will open at 10am on Thursday 24 September 2026 until 5pm on Friday 9 October 2026.

Auditing classes/seminars
Although courses at LSE can be very popular and places may sometimes be limited, you might have the opportunity to 'shop around' before making your final course selections. You may also be able to audit additional courses that are not part of your programme and for which you are not formally registered. Please note that audited courses do not carry credit and are not assessed.
You may be able to access lecture content either through online recordings or, with the lecturer's or course manager’s permission, by attending in person. However, you will not normally be permitted to attend the associated classes or seminars for courses you are not registered on.
