Yarden holds an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the LSE. Prior to arriving in London and the LSE, Yarden was working as a landscape architect in Israel and holds a BLA from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Yarden’s research is focused on the political and social processes leading to the current era of ‘new-water’ production in Israel and its implications on politics and society. Her research aims to create a detailed political ecology analysis of ‘new-water’ production and water governance in the Israeli context, using water security and securitisation as leading theoretical frames.
Apart from doing her doctoral research work, Yarden is also working as a research assistant to the acclaimed climate change lawyer, and activist Farhana Yamin.
