Seunghwan is an Mhil/PhD student in Economic Geography. His research focuses on urban and real estate economics including dynamics of urban consumption and spatial impact of exogenous shocks, such as conflict risk.

Prior to his PhD, he worked as a research intern at the Korea Institute of Industrial Economics & Trade (KIET). He graduated from the department’s Msc Local Economic Development with an overall best performance prize and holds dual undergraduate degrees in economics and business economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Sungkyunkwan University.
