Manav Chaudhary awarded Bank of England's Houblon-Norman and George Fellowship

Dr Manav Chaudhary of the LSE Department of Finance has been awarded a prestigious Bank of England Houblon-Norman and George Fellowship.

In response to the announcement, Dr Chaudhury said: "It is wonderful to be recognised for this Fellowship, which will support further research into how the interactions between financial institutions - broker-dealers, hedge funds, insurance companies, and pension funds - underpin the smooth functioning of sovereign debt markets".

The Houblon-Norman and George Fellowships aim to promote research into and disseminate knowledge and understanding of the working, interaction and function of financial business institutions in the UK and elsewhere and the economic conditions affecting them.
