I’m primarily interested in empirical macroeconomics: at the moment I’m working on projects relating to consumption habits, hysteresis and the determination of interest rates. Trying to use microdata to learn about macro phenomena is a common theme. I’m also very interested in history.
Prior to LSE, I did a BA in History and Economics at Oxford, an MSc in Economics at UCL, and worked for several years in statistics and monetary policy at the Bank of England.
