'Our World in Data' features research by Eric Schneider on childhood stunting

Findings from a review of 122 global child development studies undertaken by a team of researchers including LSE's Eric Schneider were recently featured on 'Our World in Data', a website dedicated to using of research and big data to solve the world's biggest problems.

Thanks to this review the scope of available data on childhood stunting has expanded dramatically , allowing a clear picture of trends throughout the twentieth century. The article focuses on disparities in rates of decline - whereas stunting from malnutrition has disappeared in some countries, in other it is still prevalent, with 150 million children worldwide still affected.
