Jessica is a Research Officer within CPEC and joined in April 2021. She is working on the NIHR SSCR-funded study ‘Getting social care conversations right to improve care and support’. In January 2022 she also began work on a proof-of-concept study exploring the barriers to collaboration during social care innovation.
Jessica has experience as an unpaid carer and has been employed as a PA by people with disabilities. In her previous career, she worked in mental health support and drug and alcohol dependency services in the community and in residential settings. The initial focus of her academic career was family courts, migration and transitional justice in North Africa and the Levant.
