Joy Thomas is the Executive Officer and Business Operations Team Lead at the Centre, where she plays a pivotal role in supporting executive functions and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the organisation. Her responsibilities span executive support, administration, office and facilities management, event planning, and oversight of all travel arrangements for the Centre. Joy is also responsible for coordinating meetings and logistics, managing office space and supplies, and preparing project documentation and contracts with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Before joining the Centre, Joy held several roles at University College London (UCL), primarily within the Faculty of Laws. There, she worked closely with the Dean, providing high-level administrative and operational support. She managed the Dean’s Office, contributed to a range of strategic projects, and collaborated across departments to support HR, finance, and facilities functions as part of the broader Laws Operations team.
Joy brings a wealth of experience in higher education administration and operations, underpinned by a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering efficient and effective support across all areas of her work.
