On 21 May 2015 a three nation (India, Senegal and China) multi-culture workshop and gala was held jointly by the Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) and Barclays Bank.
The event began at 12:00 at Barclays Headquarters, Canary Wharf, and staff members demonstrated the different customs and foods used to celebrate traditional festivals in their home countries. Ms. Lu YU, CIBL Tsinghua intern, performed a Peking opera song and then gave a presentation on its history and the different roles of Peking Opera characters, which stirred up the great interest of the audience. Meanwhile, CIBL mandarin teachers demonstrated different traditional Chinese crafts, such as the tea ceremony, Chinese painting and calligraphy while introducing the various language and cultural programmes provided by CIBL.
The event was attended by over 200 Barclays staff members and through this experience they were able to expand their understanding of world and Chinese traditional culture and arts.
2015年5月21日，伦敦商务孔子学院（CIBL）受邀参加了由巴克莱银行总部发起并举办的三国（印度，塞内加尔和中国）文化曲艺荟萃展。
表演活动于正午12点正式开始。来自不同的国家的艺术表演者分别呈上了富有本国民族特色的精彩曲艺舞蹈，其中，来自清华大学目前就任伦敦孔子学院实习生的郁露为在场观众表演了最具中国传统文化代表性的京剧，并现场与观众进行了充满趣味性与文化性的互动。同时，来自CIBL的各位老师与实习生，也在现场为众多观众呈现了茶艺、书法、国画等传统中国文化艺术活动。通过这次活动，让更多的人了解了中国文化，进而了解了孔子学院，孔子学院的语言和文化课程。
这次活动受到了广泛的关注和欢迎，有约两百位巴克莱银行的员工参加了这次的庆祝活动。
