About me

Walter Alberto is a Development Manager at LSE Consulting. He brings over eight years of combined experience across legal practice, academic research, and project execution. He is an admitted lawyer in Chile (non-practising) and has worked across different areas of legal practice, project management and academic research.

As a development manager, he supports academic teams throughout the lifecycle of project delivery, contributing to proposal development, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that project requirements are met. He is particularly interested in projects involving politics, governance, law, organisational management, complex decision‑making, and outcomes evaluation.

Walter Alberto holds a Bachelor of Legal Science from Universidad de Los Andes (Chile) and an LL.M. in Legal Theory from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. Before joining the LSE he conducted doctoral research in Law and Social Change: The Challenges of Transnational Regulation at Birkbeck, University of London, and Università Roma Tre (awaiting examination). He is native in Spanish, fluent in English and has reading proficiency in Italian.
