Avida Hancock – Eequ
Avida is the founder of Eequ a radical new peer to peer platform for holistic education. Avida is a Montessori teacher turned entrepreneur who has been developing non-hierarchical organisational structures for the last 10 years. Working with teams across many countries, she has combined technology and data science to enable transparent, agile and collaborative processes. Avida is driven to create a new operating system for organisations - replacing managers and information hierarchies, for a new kind of decentralised, protean and purposeful company.
Katie Massie-Taylor and Sarah Hesz - Mush
Mush was born when Katie and Sarah struck up conversation in a rainy London playground, both with two small children. After keeping each other sane and happy in the months that followed, they realised that all mums should have access to a free and fun way to make friends nearby in the same boat. The app was launched in May 2016.
Max Jennings – Hoop
Max is an entrepreneur and investor with over fifteen years experience growing popular online businesses.
Struggling to find interesting things to do with his two young daughters, he co-founded the mobile app Hoop in 2016 to help families get out of the house and connect with entertaining, educational and inspiring activities in the local areas. Downloaded by over one million parents, Hoop was picked by Apple as one of the Best Apps of 2016 & 2017.
Prior to Hoop, Max launched VoucherCodes, Europe's largest coupon business that helped millions of people shop and save at their favourite brands. Acquired in 2011 by Retailmenot Inc., VoucherCodes was voted the 7th Best Small Business to work for by the Sunday Times Magazine.
