No Lost Generation: refugee children education in Cyprus

Overview

This project investigates the integration of refugee children and youngsters in the educational system of Cyprus and suggests policies that will have an impact on the education chances of these children. The project has the following specific objectives:

i) To comprehensively understand and assess existing educational measures (formal and non- formal) implemented in Cyprus related to the successful integration of these children in education.

ii) To examine ways that linking educational arrangements together can help or block equal chances for refugee children to reach maximum school success.

iii) To recommend policies which will have an impact on educational arrangements and promote the integration of these children into the educational system.
