Meet our speaker and chair
Daniel Ziblatt (@dziblatt) is Eaton Professor of Government at Harvard University and director of the Transformations of Democracy group at Berlin's Social Science Center (WZB Berlin Social Science Center). He specialises in the study of European politics, democracy, state-building, and historical political economy. His most recent book, Tyranny of the Minority (co-authored with Steven Levitsky), examines the authoritarian backlash taking place in contemporary US politics.
Robin Archer is the Director of the postgraduate programme in political sociology and the Director of the Ralph Miliband Programme at LSE.
