Praised as a “truly great violinist” and “a highly musical and thoughtful player” by the likes of Pierre Amoyal, Tasmin Little and Maxim Vengerov, Cristian Grajner de Sa is quickly establishing himself as one of the rising stars of the new generation of violinists.

He has played in many of the great venues of Europe, broadcast live on BBC Radio 3, BBC Television, TVR Romanian National Television. Cristian received the 1st Prize at the Groba International Violin Competition 2015 was selected as a finalist of the Royal Overseas League 2014 and BBC Young Musician 2012 and was a recipient of the Gold Medal with High Distinction at the 1st International Vienna Music Competition, 2019. 

Marina Nadiradze's playing has been compared by the music critic Michael Church to that of the great Japanese pianist Mitsuko Uchida and, since her arrival in the UK, Marina has captivated audiences with her exquisite artistry and passion. She was a major scholarship holder at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she continued her studies with Philip Jenkins. During her time there she won every major piano competition.

The next lunchtime concert is on Thursday 18 January and will be performed by the Clarinet Trio.
