Undergraduate Support Scheme

The Undergraduate Support Scheme provides funding for overseas students on the basis of financial need.

Eligibility

The LSE Undergraduate Support Scheme (USS) is designed to help overseas students who do not have the necessary funds to meet all their costs of study.

Please note that the LSE receives far more applications for financial assistance than it can support and unfortunately not all applications to the Undergraduate Support Scheme will be successful.

Scholarship amount

For 2019, the School has set aside around £915,000 in entrance awards to self-financing students of all nationalities. The amount of assistance will vary according to individual financial needs but awards are usually between £6,000 and £15,000.

Awards are renewable for each year of your programme.

How to apply

Once you've received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional), you can apply for this scholarship. Please complete the application form.
