Offer Holders' Day

Attend subject taster talks, meet LSE students and tour the campus

This year’s Offer Holders’ Day for undergraduate applicants took place on Wednesday 5 April 2017.

Below you can see video podcasts of the talks from the day.

The next Offer Holders' Day will take place in April 2018 for undergraduate applicants with an offer of admission for entry in September 2018 or deferred for 2019.

Offer Holders' Day is designed to ensure that you can obtain all the information you need to make a well-informed choice about whether to accept your offer of a place at LSE.

An Offer Holders' Day provides you with the opportunity to:

  • attend subject taster sessions relevant to your degree programme
  • meet current LSE students
  • visit some of our student accommodation
  • tour the LSE campus
  • ask your questions directly to academic and support staff

Planning your day

There are normally many events taking place at Offer Holders’ Day so we recommend you use the Programme Booklet to plan your day in advance.

See the Offer Holders’ Day Programme Booklet from April 2017.

You may also wish to combine your visit to LSE with attending an LSE Public lecture

Travel and accommodation

Use our maps of LSE and directions to the campus to find your way to us. We do not recommend arriving at LSE by car as parking in the area is extremely limited. However, the TfL Journey Planner can help you find your way across London by tube, bus and train.

If you’re planning to stay overnight in London, why not enjoy a taste of university life by staying in an LSE hall of residence? Staying in LSE halls is cost effective, and prospective students receive a 20 per cent discount on the standard room rates.

Please avoid bringing luggage to the Offer Holders’ Day as we have no facilities to store this during the event.

You may also wish to combine your visit to LSE with attending an LSE Public lecture.
