Our study abroad students are guaranteed a room in our central London student accommodation, and are fully integrated, both in terms of our accommodation and teaching, with our undergraduate students, around half of whom come from over 150 countries outside the UK.
As a General Course student you’ll be able to take advantage of the programme’s extensive social calendar, which includes School events, European and UK package tours, theatre tickets and more!
The social calendar is subsidised by LSE with events offered to General Course students at a significant discount, helping you get the most out of your time with us.
The LSE Students’ Union also has 150+ student societies covering a wide variety of interests including politics, culture, academia, sports, hobbies, and food and drink! General Course students are always heavily involved, finding it a great way to meet fellow LSE students, outside the classroom!
And then there’s London and the exciting myriad of cultural events and attractions the city has to offer. Every week during term time you’ll receive the General Course Tembo newsletter which (amongst other things) features all the highlights of things to do in town.
If you would like to find out more about life in London, fill out this form to receive LSE's London life e-book.
With so many things to choose from throughout your year with us, the challenge isn’t deciding what to do with your time; it’s figuring out how to fit everything in!
