I have booked a ticket and I can no longer attend, what can I do?

Unfortunately the tickets are non-refundable. However, you are welcome to contact statistics.events@lse.ac.uk to discuss your circumstances.

Is there a dress code?

Our dress code is Dress To Impress! It’s a special occasion, so let’s take this opportunity to dress the part. This is your chance to get your fancy dresses and suits on and dust off your party shoes.  Feel free to express yourself in a way that you feel comfortable with.

Very casual attire such as jeans, trainers, hoodies, flip flops, sports wear or caps are not suitable for the ball. Feel free to wear traditional cultural attire, a suit, a dress or a tuxedo.

If this raises any issues for you, please email statistics.events@lse.ac.uk

Funding for Student Ball tickets

The LSE SU are open to applications for department events and have a Participation Fund. They review each application case-by-case and approve it according to the student's needs. The next funding panel date is Tuesday 6 February 2024. The LSE SU usually send replies during that same week, and it takes 10 working days for payments to be processed afterwards. Please submit an application now to be considered in early February
