Nesrin is the Arabic Managing Editor at the LSE Middle East Centre. She manages the translation of blogs and publications into Arabic. She is also a Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London.

Her research interests are language, arts, and politics in the Middle East with a special focus on Syria. Before joining LSE, Nesrin held various research and teaching positions at Higher Education Institutions in the Middle East and the UK. In addition to her academic career, Nesrin is a playwright and uses arts for public engagement.
