The Department of Management is located on LSE’s campus in the heart of central London.
London is an unparalleled environment in which to live and study. As a global centre for business, culture and government, our location places our staff and students on the doorstep of the latest developments in business and policy worldwide. It also offers an endless array of entertainment and cultural experiences. LSE is a historic London institution, and we are proud to be at the heart of our city's rich culture and global future.
Building and facilities
We are located in the New Academic Building on LSE campus. The building was opened in 2008 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, and provides a cutting-edge setting for research and teaching, with state-of-the-art teaching facilities, social space, cafes, study areas and a rooftop terrace with spectacular views of London.

Environmental sustainability
The Department of Management is committed to environmental sustainability.
We participate in the Green Impact scheme for UK universities, and successfully achieved the Bronze Green Impact award in 2012, the Silver award in 2013, the Gold award in 2014 and Platinum award in 2015. Our staff are working to match these achievements in 2016.
