On the 06 Feb,2019, CIBL supported and helped with the New Year Celebration events at HSBC Headquarters at Canary Wharf. Employees at HSBC enjoyed a range of New Year activities including Chinese zodiac introduction, tea tasting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese New Year greetings and there were also performances on traditional Chinese instruments, lion dances, traditional Chinese song singing and instrument playing. HSBC staff were very active in participating this New Year Event and three of them won tea prizes.
CIBL demonstrated China's traditional culture from all angles and the series of activities provided helped HSBC employees appreciate and gain a greater understanding of Chinese culture. Through the success of these celebrations, the links between CIBL and HSBC were greatly strengthened.
2019年2月6日，CIBL员工在汇丰银行总部参与举行己亥年新年庆祝活动。在汇丰总部大厦，春节庆祝活动荟萃了中国传统生肖介绍、品茶、中国书法、中国新年问候、英文名字的中文翻译与书写，学唱中国歌等。汇丰银行员工积极参加活动，最后还有三位汇丰银行员工获得中国茶作为奖品。
伦敦商务孔子学院的老师们从各个角度展示了中国的传统文化，与汇丰银行的员工一同庆祝农历己亥年。这次活动收到了汇丰银行官方的感谢，此活动既让汇丰银行的员工们领略了中国文化的魅力，也促进了伦敦商务孔子学院与汇丰银行的友谊与联系。
