The CIBL summer programmes are designed to meet all your business Chinese learning needs, and the classes will help improve your Chinese communication abilities based on your existing language level.

1. Beginner level - £500 paid directly via the LSE eShop

2. Intermediate & Advanced levels - £500  to be paid after language assessment with  a CIBL teaching team staff

2.     10-day programme – For   beginners no language assessment is required. For Intermediate and Advanced   level, a language assessment will be arranged.

Programme structure

 These programmes are designed for students who aim to make rapid progress in a short time. The courses integrate general Chinese skills and business Chinese elements. With a maximum of ten students per class, you will have plenty of opportunities to focus on developing language skills and using them in speech with maximum fluency and accuracy.  There are three available levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.  This is particularly suitable for students who are highly motived and would like to gain as much fluency as possible.

Teaching and assessment

Six hours per day for 5-day programme, and 3 hours per day for 10-day programme which will feature:

(a) communication skills with Chinese ; (b) listening and oral practice; (c) vocabulary learning; (d) grammar exercise (e) business Chinese culture supplemented with web-based materials

Formative coursework

 Students will be required to complete daily exercises.  These include vocabulary tasks, grammar activities, writing Chinese characters and communicative materials. A certificate of attendance can be provided on request after successful completion of the programme
