We have two teaching support roles available. Both involve supporting primary aged children and older children at secondary school, who have little educational support at home, with their studies. Could you help us support these young people?

Volunteer at our small friendly Charity Shop in South Westminster.
You will be part of the fundraising team, raising funds to support the work of the Cardinal Hume Centre and promoting the work of the Centre to the public. It can be a busy environment with lots of regular customers and fun too!

As a Community Shop Volunteer, you’ll support guests, help them choose items, manage queues, and assist with till operations. You’ll stock shelves, sort donations and keep the shop a clean and welcoming space.

TimeGivers organise fun volunteering events for school children so that they can enact the changes they want to see in their local communities.
Our events focus on 3 key pillars of change: Crisis Relief, The Environment, Social Inclusion.
We need Youth Volunteering Facilitators to help us!

The Community Café volunteering role involves supporting the day-to-day running of our Community Café by serving hot drinks, pastries, and lunches. We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers who enjoy working with people in a busy environment.

The Felix Project is a food distribution charity working on tackling London's issues on poverty. We need you! Do you enjoy meeting new people, and have a couple of hours spare to help tackle food waste and reduce food poverty in London? Then why not come and volunteer in our warehouse

Join Grandma’s Soup on a mission to reduce loneliness among older adults by bringing generations together through cooking and connection. Join fun, flexible cooking sessions where students and seniors make soup together, chat, and build real connections. Open to all LSE students.

Our Community Kitchen volunteers support with cooking and food preparation tasks, and help to maintain a clean, and safe kitchen environment. It’s a rewarding opportunity to work as part of a friendly team and make a positive difference supporting our free Community Kitchen open to the community.
