About

Ignacio is a researcher at the City Government Observatory, working on qualitative and quantitative research into innovation across city governments.

He has spent the past several years working at the intersection of government and innovation, helping to establish the Chilean government’s first behavioural insights unit before joining the national innovation lab, where he developed the country’s first index of institutional innovation capacity and led agile and design-thinking projects with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Housing.

He studied Economics at the Universidad de Chile and recently completed an MPA at the LSE School of Public Policy.
