LSE students commended in LSE-Featherstone Moot 2026
Warmest congratulations to two current LSE students and an LSE LLM alumnus for their commended performance in this year’s LSE-Featherstone Moot 2026. This year, the LSE-Featherstone Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Moot marked its 10th anniversary and saw an unprecedented level of applications to take part, with over 40 teams across the country qualifying to compete in the oral rounds.
The tremendous advocacy of LSE PhD student Eoin Jackson and LSE alumnus Max Philpott saw them compete in the Grand Final, heard by High Court Judge Mr Justice McKendrick. Undergraduate LSE Law student Saara Parijaat was awarded the prestigious Landmark Chambers Advocacy Prize for her efforts in advocacy during the oral rounds.
Congratulations once again to the stellar performance of all teams. Immense thanks to the some 60 judges who gave their time and expertise, and to the Moot’s generous sponsors, Linklaters and Landmark Chambers
