About me

I have been teaching French since 2003. Before joining LSE, I worked as a visiting lecturer for the Modern Language Centre at King’s College. I have experience in teaching different programmes such as French for business, French for law and French culture and society. In 2020, I was nominated for a King’s Teaching Award, which meant a great deal to me, as I truly value my students and always ensure that they are learning in an inclusive, supportive, and friendly environment. I worked for other institutions such as LBS business school, ESCP business school, Birkbeck College and City University. I have experience of teaching in a corporate environment (banks and law firms) and trained diplomats for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. I also hold a CELTA qualification in language teaching.

About the Language Centre

LSE is a centre for the study of the social sciences and this is reflected in its Language Centre.

Our courses focus on language and society, encouraging you to learn how to use language in the contexts you would like to live, study and work in. We teach people to speak languages, but also teach about language (socio-linguistics and intercultural communication) and offer a range of courses on literature and society.

We offer English for Academic Purposes programmes, BSc programmes a range of undergraduate degree courses that can be taken as part of a degree and a range of language options that can be taken outside of a degree programme. All programmes and courses relate language study and support to the fields of interest of social science students.
