Awards and Prizes

Information on awards and prizes available to Language Centre BSc students and those taking our UG courses.

All prizes are awarded by our Sub-Board of Examiners and communicated to students either at graduation ceremonies or by ourselves. These awards are made annually.

Their presentation demonstrated not only their Mandarin language abilities but also their understanding of Chinese culture and society.

BSc awards and prizes

• BSc Language Culture and Society
  A Language Centre Examiners Award for exceptional performance is awarded to a graduating student for outstanding performance on this programme. The winner receives £100 and a letter of congratulations from the Chair of our Sub-Board of Examiners.
• BSc International Relations and Chinese
  A Language Centre Examiners Award for exceptional performance is awarded to a graduating student for outstanding performance on this programme. The winner receives £100 and a letter of congratulations from the Chair of our Sub-Board of Examiners.
• An additional Language Centre Examiners Award for exceptional performance is awarded to a non-Language Centre UG student, studying an LN course as part of their programme. The winner receives £100 and a letter of congratulations from the Chair of our Sub-Board of Examiners.
